Burning
Yet another case of stupidity has arisen after a region of Wellington was engulfed by flames yesterday. Still ablaze now, nearly 24 hours after the deliberate act of arson it’s a sad sight indeed. We have spoken to some friends who live in that area, they were evacuated late last night from their home, very scary for them.
We have seen and been victim to the terror of bush fires before, in our old home in Owhiro Bay as bush fires were extremely common, at one stage we couldn’t get home as our street was blocked off for fear of the fire spreading.
Of course not to mention the sad loss of many animals on the land, the mess caused and the money being spent to put it out, I do hope the person responsible is happy. To read the full story and see some more photos click here.
